Coven

Those who say they know all there is to know, know the least.

Felicity Groom called a coven to her to watch over the streets of Walyalup / Fremantle during Ten Nights in Port, 2025.

Coven was a collaborative visual and audio project of six individual artist / witches who each personified and channelled one of the elements: wind, water, fire, earth, spirit and void to create images, songs, spells and rituals
to summon connection and care of the places that sustain us.

Posterised images of these generally benevolent but not unscary wise women appeared suddenly, esoteric symbols (QR codes) linking to their elementally-inspired works for the ears (listen below), and the witches themselves gathered on the full moon
to conduct a one-night-only walking / singing ceremony, with public and choir rounding out the blessing.
